Growing Start To The New Year For Ultimate

Tunbridge Wells-based Ultimate Finance has begun the New Year by announcing the appointment of a new Director of International Development.

David Wright joins the company with 20 years experience in the invoice finance industry including 14 years in operations and most recently five years in sales at Close Invoice Finance.

He will be responsible for business development in the South East and growing the company’s market share. He will also be working closely with Maria Dunne, Managing Director, to develop and market the import and export offering that Ultimate has created since the formation of the international division last summer.

David said: “Many companies dabble in international factoring, but very few do well in this area. Ultimate is making a concerted effort to offer valuable solutions to companies wanting to export and I am looking forward to this challenge.

“The role builds on the sales and operational expertise that I have developed and I hope that this will make me an integral part of the expanding office.”

Looking for a role at an independent provider, David found that some were restrained by the current economic climate.

“At the moment Ultimate Finance is one of the few finance providers in the independent market that have got an appetite for lending to most sectors.

“It has a refreshing and dynamic culture, which I think is because it combines young enthusiasm with serious experience in the industry.”

Maria Dunne, Managing Director South East said: “The South East office has only been running six months but David has a wealth of experience which will help us to grow.

“We are now full members of the Factors Chain International (FCI) so everything is in place for us to work with international clients on both import and export factoring.

With the appointment of Paul Levy as Director of Corporate Development only a couple of months ago, the team is now in place we are ready to push on and market ourselves.

“We are one of the only independent factoring companies to provide an international factoring service so we are keen to highlight this to companies who are looking to expand overseas.”
